Luck isn't been with me nowadays...

I'll never be defeated!

I'm out for the TQ quarterfinals.... I'm not been selected for the temp job (self assumed cos no phone calls) No job No income! Handphone got bit problematic~ Tons of un-read lecture notes... blah blah blah..... I'm dead!
This is the Year of Dog! My year!! The disastrous year!!! I mean according to those feng shui aka geomancy, it is said that for 本 命 年 is BAD! I want to prove it WRONG!
I'm not superstitious or what... but before I prove it wrong, I went to highlight my hair RED! Hahaha.... 鸿 (红) 运 当 头 ! I supposed this is just to boost up my confidence.

Anyway... just 讨 个 吉 利 lor... hope my luck will be better!

Forever waiting
I hate to say this.... but why are we always been spending out precious time to wait???
WHY???
Ok, I must admit that I'm an impatient person. I just hate to wait! Rah.....
I'm applying for a temp part time job again. Is my luck really that bad that I gotta go temple to pray? Wouldn't that be 平 时 不 烧 香 ， 临 时 抱 佛 脚 ? They always asked me to go for interviews and then ask me to wait. This time is not the agency but the company! What puzzled me is that, the job is merely a 1 week or so temporary promoter.Yet, there will be a 2nd round of interview! Wait wait wait.... haiz..... i guess it's a gone case!
What makes me heart-pain is that on the application form, which needs a passport photo! I thought of going for those instant ones which only needs $6 for 4 photos. Rah.... what the hell~ I didn't know that after the Post Office at Clementi had renovated, there's no those instant passport photo taking machines there already! I was like 热 窝 上 的 蚂 蚁 cos I'll be late! If I'm going to the studio to take sure very expensive! Bo bian~ I just went! I thought at most $10 bucks.... but who knows $12!!!! But it came with 12 pieces and a CD Rom. But who cares!!!! I look extremely nerdy and ugly in that picture! Who the hell needs 8 in all??? I wouldn't use that for my future perm job interviews!

Oh 天 啊 !!!! Bless me with a good job and earn big bucks!!!!
Alright I shall stop demoralising myself and being pessimistic! 自 我 催 眠 .... (erm... sounds familiar?)

New Year New Hairstyle ^.^
Erm... by looking at the title... you may think I'm satisfied with it!
NO!
Ok... u can say I'm a cheapo and not spending much on a haircut this year.... and Yes! I'm a cheapo!!!! Cannot ar?! Actuallt not cheap leh.... CNY....price will go up $17!!! Arrgggg....
Hahahaha..... 活 该 !!! I deserved it! Get a stupid hairstyle and now I wished my hair can grow longer in a week's time!!!

It's so called the "side swept bangs"! I wanna cry when I looked at myself in the mirror! OMG! Quite difficult to style the fringe! I gotta use wax to apply on the shorter part.
The next thing is when I got home, I started to ask my bro and cousin about their comments. Rah... I don't know if they were trying to console me or what? They actually said that this new hairstyle is much better than the previous one.... I'm muffled!
Alright I shall console myself abit.... I look OK with this.... okok ~ Am I deceiving myself? Look at my confused expression...

3...2...1...CUT!
Ooohhh... yesterday have a wonderful feast (Got rojak, Popiah and steamboat!) at Daph's house (my so-called mama in my college days) It's her 24th birthday!!! Oh god.... I must say time really ZOOM!!!! Soon next year we will be celebrating our 1st quarter of a century on Earth! Tsk tsk tsk...
And yes.. after eating, we were in "mama's" room...chatting and yes namu forced me(okok i use a nicer word--->insist!) to take a photo, and still not satisfied with my 'expression'... hur hur hur...
We were all chatting about JOBS! Yah... I guess at this age we were all sharing about working experience and thoughts. And OMG I'm entering the work force soon! Real soon! And mind you~ it's THIS YEAR!!! I seriously think that I can't make it to find a job that I like! I look like those O levels students! Or even worse than them.... some are more matured looking than me! I can't recall if there's those 'xiao meimei' looking ladies working in BIG companies??? Hmmm... I'm sad! I see no future~
