Day 2 in Taiwan

Continued...

This is my hotel room! Oopppss... not mine lah.... room where I stayed for 5 nights.

Look at the mess after the 1st night. Well... mine is on the right of the picture , featuring a bag which I only carried it for a day. Hahaha.... cos I bought a new bad on the 2nd day and use it all the way back to Singapore.

My everyday morning TV 'breakfast'. Love to watch Doraemon! You know in Singapore, every Sat and Sun 9.30am channel 8 also have! All time faves!

Taken from my room...the outside looks very 'lok kok'! But I missed walking every turns and corners of the streets, watching out of reckless drivers and scooters.... how to say leh.... hmmm... it's a feeling of excitment. Hahaha.... sadist!

Me!!! In good condition... ready for a snap~just ignore the eye bags! Hehehe~

My 1st breakfast.... free! There's this cafe at our hotel. Nice and polite waiter...who thought I don't know how to speak Mandarin. Point here and there... blah... and I spoke Mandarin to him! Hiak~ Here's fried dory sandwich and pottage and a glass of orange juice.

Burrrrp!

See~ I just missed the streets. This picture is taken across a street near my hotel. Look at the colourful Mac! And the big big big wordings of advertisment....

And the yellow cabs....like Malaysia... some have the drivers' names printed outside of the cars' doors. Some only state the parts of Taipei they are willing to drive to. Example, Hualien, Taizhong... Hmmm who will take the cab to that far? Guess its faster and cheaper to take their domestic flights.
Xing Guang San Yue (XGSY). There are alot of XGSY in Taipei. Somehow they are like branches in different parts of Taipei. I went to another BIGGER one at around Taipei 101 there.(Look out for pictures below)

This is in front of XGSY. See the green thing? Its the head of Shrek. Cos' they are screening Shrek 3 there, and so everywhere is so green and Shreky!

I just take this picture for fun. Alot of tourists went for this. But its something like the history of Taiwan. Hello??? Do you want to go into a place which tells you History? Oh! Why I'm so resisted in going there.... ok lah! I failed my History can???!!!

Off to buy the MRT card which is similar to Singapore's EZlink card. NT500=SGD20+ to last my whole trip. Anyway I kept the card as a sovenier left with only NT52=SGD2+. The expiry is 2 years... who knows I will be back again within 2 years.... LOL.

Here's me at Zhong Xiao Fu Xing Station. Look at the doors? Somehow like the ones we have for the underground MRT station. Special thing is that during peak hours, they have a person who is maybe a security or what, taking a long laser stick (similar to Star Wars type) and blowing whistles to direct the commuters. Side track.... Anyone knows Dong Li Huo Che? That duo team... they sang a song called 'Zhong Xiao Dong Lu Zou Jiu Bian' a.k.a Walking 9 times at Zhong Xiao East Street (loosely translated). It's a street when you get down at this station.

Cute?
Yum Yum! Its the famous Mister Donuts that every tourist wants to have a bite of their varieties of donuts! I ordered 2!

Cos I was angry with the girl who serves us. I took my mobile camera to take a picture of the shop (not even a shop) rah.... dunno how to call it lah! And when Ms K went to take a closer shot at the display of donuts, she's like shouting to us not to take pictures. Oh man! There are still some customers around, how can she embarrassed us? I was damn angry! But I want to try the donuts! When it is my turn, I deliberately ordered the donuts in English. And spoke in slang English! Stupid girl! So rude! Speak a bit of English so that she can't get to react immediately! Humpfh! Well.. she's stunned! hahahaha.... Didn't managed to take a picture of the 'suay' girl who angered the evil me~

Very soft! Very sweet! Very nice! Compared to Singapore's... Hmm softer... and more varieties.

Taipei 101!
Can't imagine 101 stories.... hmmm... didn't get to experience to get up to there. Find it a waste of $$$ just to experience the speed of the lift. Go UOB and take the lift up the 60 stories lah! Just that it's lower and at a slower pace. But at 60 floor... you can try the famous Dao Huay~

Here's me, with messy hair... cos the wind is blowing.... Perfect tourist look!
And can you imagine, I just went in and have this piece of Latte Egg tart from KFC. NT30=SGD1+ Just because I watched the advertisement on SCV and wanted to try how nice it is. Not bad I can say... haha... taste like coffee.

Moving to NYNY.
New York New York. I didn't take a plane to New York lah! It's another shopping centre... just like our Wisma, Taka, Plaza Sing... etc... all expensive stuff!

Statue of Liberty! Errr.. the torch! NY! Hahaha.... I wanted to pose like her... but there are so many people walking around.... erm... And what!? Another shrek behind?

Xing Guang San Yue again! The red buildings are the whole building structure.... link to each other.... hmmm I guess can form 3 Taka liao!

Look who's the one in the black suit! Jimmy Lin Zhi Ying! My idol when I was in Primary School. Can still remember my cousins fell for Aaron Kwok and I fell for Jimmy Lin! haha.. still as boyish! they are filming over there... Thought that this is a rare chance that I can take a picture with him but his PR (with the yellow cap) pulled him away for an interview. The girl beside him is a Korean star. I dunno who is she... but only when I get back to the hotel at night and watched the TV... Fang Yang De Xing Xing... then I know they are actually filming that show. Watched a bit.. hmmm seems boring.... I think I saw Li Wei too! Cos I saw someone like him but not confirmed. He acted in the show too.

Next to XiMenDing. The 11 stories PartyWorld. Grand from the outside... dunno how's inside. 6 days is not enough for me to sing there.

Early in the morning.... only Obasans and Ojisans lor... But at night hor.... cool!

Me at Eslite Cheng Pin Book store. Bought comics, magazines, and books!

Hong Lou Ju Chang~ Heard that Jolin Tsai is going to perform there in few days time... but I will be in Singapore liao wor~

Alright.... that's about it.... to be continued...
