This is the third day of battle~ So far so good~ at least the UK lecturer is not as boring as last year's e.g Amos and the IBM lecturer
Rah~ Actually Marketing is a nice subject! Yes 'Nice' cos I couldn't find any words to substitute haha~ erm this subject really makes me think! Think till my puny brain almost burst! Muahahaha~ I guess the most important thing about scoring in Marketing should be having a SUPREME MEMORY+ good understanding. Haiz... when can I ever do that? I'm getting old and memory failing duhz.... HOW? HOW? HOW? Yesterday I was telling Kaili that my Year 1 grades are not that fantastic and so Year 2 gotta work even harder! Cos I don't want to get a third class honours and it's super malu to get that class of honours! Like what my last year IBM lecturer Mr. Nageb said:" Third class honours will get U Third class job!" Boo Hoo~ I'm really petrified of his words! And for my final year I'm still planning to take his subject again~ ICP ah hah~ like go to SONG SI like that hahahaha~
AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS...
I DON'T WANT PEOPLE TO LOOK DOWN ON ME! ESP THOSE WHO WANT TO SEE ME FALL! Rah.... why on earth there's such people? Shouldn't they be sent to EXTERMINATE???

::A Long tiring battle::
Yes... today will be the first day of the long and tiring battle that I'm going to fight through till May. Along with this battle, there's something which I'd to decide a.s.a.p as it considers the outcome of my life...

"You are my SUPERSTAR~" lalallala~
Hmm... here's the chinese version of Singapore Idol. Lemme see, how many Mandarin singing competitions over the past 10 years? ( Well, excluding Top Fun and Quan Ming Ou Xiang) hardly ~~~
OK so what's the definition of a SUPERSTAR?
1.Pretty/Handsome?
2.Talented? Musically inclined?
3.Must have the height?
4.Must have some 'strings' attached?
In Mandarin Pop, I guess have to work very hard! Looks is a plus! Of course have to sing well!!! (Don't wanna see another William Hung to disgraced himself/herself) Urm although Singapore Idol~ Taufik is not really the one that everyone voted for at the beginning. Where Sylvester is considered the more 'idol' to be. But now Sly is moving into the Mandopop. Is he capable to do it? Well... so far I had heard of his AN JING and JIAN DAN AI uh hum~ all Jay Chou's songs yah? Isn't he supposed to be a rocker? (I think he should persist in his style at least a rocker of Singapore not those underground rockers... just too bad... SI wanted the contestants to be all rounded in their music genre) Actually I wanted Olinda Cho to be SI! Just that she's kinda lack of some X factor. (Taufik has it? umm.. I don't think so) The final decision lies on the hands (or rather mobiles) of the audience... that's why! Both Taufik and Sly has a POOL of xiao mei meis and aunties to vote for them! Olinda has her rich family and relatives well perhaps some hardcore fans of her.... (do you think these include xiao di dis?)
S.H.E=Superstar? Well they sang that. 3 simple girls formed a simple group and now is a well known triplets! (Even my uncle said that they are really good) Yes, they can harmonised their parts well but given a chance to hear them sing individually ... uh hum!
How about Wilber Pan? Umm I shan't make any comments.
I don't want him to hate me for life!
So, who's a SUPERSTAR? I would like to see how SUPER the STAR of this PROJECT SUPERSTAR CONTEST... is it because of looks? talents? or packaging? voting mass?

::NATAS and F&B Fair at Suntec::
Update for 19th March 2005
Guess too much activities these days... actually forget to update about going to the NATAS and F&B fair at Suntec City. Yup went to get some info for the upcoming trip to Taiwan and Shun Bian go to the F&B fair to eat. Haaha 1st time to go visit such events. Well the F&B fair quite nice... just that cos of weekends so it's kinda crowded. Kaili and I went to buy beehoon with Taiwan sausage~ for only $2 lor... damn cheap and so filling. Couldn't find any seats and so we stood in a corner and settle for our lunch. After that we each bought a Strawberry Snow ( guess it something like Chua -Bing) urm it taste really sour >.<
Alright I'd eaten almost 75% of it! Haha~
Den we went to the NATAS fair... well~ blur me din know that it actually cost $3 for the entrance fee rah~ and started to ponder whether will it be beneficial to get in there? After Kaili's analysis of the advantages and so we decided to go and take a look.( well in my mind I was thinking if we could get some free stuff as well and so it will worth our $3 entrance fee)
Hmmm there's tons of people there k (yes I used the word TONS) haha.... but ok lah able to get alot of info of Taiwan and compare the prices of different packages... we got a free shadow paper cutting of our side view which I think really look alike~ He even cut the outline of the specs of Kaili and wah... fantastic! Most importantly it's FREE! Ahahahahaha~
Alright guess the planning of visiting whic part of Taiwan will be done in June after the Major exams and the saddening thing is Phy and MichXu couldn't join in. Well hope Emily is able to get people from her side and I'll try my side here too~ Cheers Taiwan here I come!

::LeeHom at IMM::
What a tiring day...
Went IMM to see Leehom, not for the signing. Actually MichLim jio me to go, so I go lor... den Xinhui leh.. that lazy wormy say want to stay at home to sleep! Rah... should have drag her out... but Leehom did not dance at all... so even if I really drag her to go think she will strangle me! Yah hoping Leehom will sing Fang Kai Ni De Xin and dance~ too bad... It's a HOT day! Rah... me and Kaili were like sweating like hell! Luckily we ain't that stupid to wait in the sun for very long. We probably waited for an hour before Leehom came. Hmm.. perhaps due to the HOT SUN and I was holding my cam ,the batt like ran out very fast. I was so worried that I couldn't take any good shots so I videocam instead. After the performance the signing started, so we went into the shelter... cos real warm! wanted to faint liao~ -_-" And here came MichLim telling me that she haven't got her CD... Rah and she wanted to get the signing lor~ we went to look for the CD at a shop OUT OF STOCK! then we went to find the booth selling the CD OUT OF STOCK! What kind of luck man!!! She was determined to get the CD and went to CD RAMA and JE entertainment to get. CD RAMA OUT OF STOCK! I thought there is a CD store at JE but she say don't have! then she took a cab down to JP but by the time she reached there the signing is over! Sad! Haiz... what to do? I told her to forget about the signing mah... but this time i saw the signing on others' CD quite nice leh... better than last time where I got on the EVOLUTION CD... sucks!
Oh the most sucky thing of the day is guess WHO i saw?!

Of cos I just turned away~ see no evil!
Oh went to take some balloons provided by Leehom's FC wah they really very rich man... invest so much on the balloons! Creative also! Haha... as we were taking the balloons... there's a girl beside me and suddenly she asked me "Eh Phyllis din come with you ar?"
Yes Im shocked! (I dunno who is she and suddenly she asked about Phy)
I looked at her with a SUPER BLUR LOOK! (She even know my name lor!!!!)
Scary right? But after she said my name I think I should have known her somewhere but my puny brain just cannot remember! Haha yup and she said her name is KEIKO! Oh yah... Debbie's friend! Duhz... Im so malu!!! Think she also embarrassed! Oppsss really sorry leh! Yah hope to see her again~ but erm at this point of time I forgot how she looks like~ ahhhhhh!!! jialat! Guess I gotta admit that I'm old! aaarrrggggg~

::Happy White Day::
White Day
March the 14th is called White Day in Japan. It is the day when men give women something as a return of their St. Valentine's Day gifts. It is also a day where, if the male has received more than one confession of love, he normally decides whom he wishes to be with.
White Day is peculiar to Japan as the custom is somewhat new. Men, as a rule-of-thumb, as far as I have heard, generally give white chocolate to the women who gave them giri-choco or honmei-choco on valentines day. If they received Honmei-choco, then normally, the male will do something similar in return, making handmade chocolate as well. With Giri-Choco, they will either also make home-made chocolates or buy pre-made chocolates as a way of saying thank you. It is hard to believe the amount of time and effort that the people actually put into their Honmei-choco gifts!
