It's actually called Devil beside you... but i wished it was ME! I spent 2 days facing my PC to watch the drama cos i missed the start of it and NOW! I finished watching till where i stopped at SCV!! Woohoo! I feel I'm so pro!

Went JB yesterday to rebond hair... thought of curling it but i really heard alot of negative comments about curling and how to maintain it in good condition. Hmmm Im a lazy person so all I want is a managable hairstyle... so rebond it again...

But its cheap lor... much cheaper than doing it in Singapore. Less than a hundred bucks and better quality somemore. I'm planning to do the curling there too after I got myself a job. Must earn $$$ 1st mah! The hairstylist told me that she actually wanted to recommend me to do curling but i 1st requested to do rebonding so she thought i prefered rebonding. And when i told her that i heard curling is hard to maintain, she said it's not difficult at all. I felt quite relieved after she showed me the various curls from jap magazines and how to manage to curls. Ok so i will go over to do the curls and the treatment is not bad at all.

Sushi Making Day Part 1

My blog entry is always back dated! Haiz....Nevermind lah...
I promised my younger cousin that I will teach him how to make sushi after my exams LAST YEAR... but I was working right after my exams and so i got to delay till now. And what a young kid can choose not to forget is he reminded me that I had broke my promise last year which caused the guilt in me. Here comes the day! Haha... I was like a fly without a head, not knowing the directions I was supposed to go(or rather do).

1st... I kept my recipe in my store room which my mama then said she don't remember where she placed it. Darn! It means that I will not be able to put the right seasoning in the rice which is the most important ingredient in sushi making!

2nd... I invited my aunt to come over to try my sushi. If the rice is ruined, everything will be in a mess! It's so un-nice to treat people to eat something that is not tasty at all!

3rd... My rolling mat! Where did I keep it? Luckily my mama remembers that... Whew!

So, it left with the seasoning of the rice! All other ingredients are those normal ones we see in the japanese restaurants. The most miracle happens! I saw there something called the POWDERED SUSHI MIX which solves the problem!

So early in the morning I gotta act like an old lady , bringing my cousin along to a supermart. But to my horror... nothing could be bought there as listed on my shopping list. Not to worry... we headed off the Fairprice! Finally we bought some Nori (japanese seaweed). Ya that all! Dotz...

We are already sianz.... so we moved on to Giant hypermart! Its a hypermart! So of cos there's much things to sell right??? If really can't find the things we needed for the sushi making.... we might as well call off the whole thing as God doesn't side with us!

Whew! We finally got everything!!! Yesh!!!! Here are the things! All bought within a tight budget of $50! (including a packet of 2.5kg japanese rice)

Sushi Making Day Part 2

The things that I had bought!
Tuna, japanese cucumber, hotdogs, powdered sushi mix...

Let me explained what's in this picture:

The ingredient for doing maki I think its called unagi correct me if I'm wrong. The pack on your right is those like tau pok the sweet ones... where you put the sushi rice in it. As you can see they are labelled in Japanese wordings... duhz... they are very ex too! But the point is, it's of course much cheaper than what you paid in japanese restaurants and i mean the economical ones.

And crab meat!....
Nori! The japanese seaweed! 10 in a pack and I bought 3 packs which makes up to 30 pieces! It's not cheap too! But end up it's still worth it!

I'm getting excited in doing the sushi.... heh so was my cousin.

PS: To prevent the technical problem to happen again I decided to blog this entry into parts. So move on to Part 3- in making the sushi.

Sushi Making Part 3

It's very easy. Like cooking the normal rice.


Check out the difference between a normal grain and a japanese pearl grain. This is the latter... start comparing... they gives different results in sushi making.

Measure the water level.

See the red checkered cloth? It's for the absorption of steam so that the rice will not get too soggy.That will be not nice if the rice is too soft as it's difficult to roll it with the nori.

It's something like normal cooked rice.

Scoop out the rice and sprinkle the powdered sushi mix over and start stiring... let the rice cool is the best!

This is the unagi that I had mentioned earlier... the feeling is like Ewwww..... yucks... but actually it really taste good! Both my granny and mama like this very much! Of course lah... its real japanese food leh.. compared to those imitation crab stick...hotdogs.... duhz.....

This is the so-called Fan Tuan. I know it should be triangular but i think its rather creative to put them into the small boxes. Inside the rice ball is tuna!

This is what I found before my exams and my mama bought it for me-- A exam good luck kit. Well, in Japan, most parents want their children to excel in their studies and especially during exam period, they will actually go to the temple to pray and also buy this kind of good luck kit... in Chinese they say FU dai which also means a bag containing good luck and prosperity. The Sakura flavoured kit-kat seems fascinating and the taste...er---hum! I do hope that this good luck kit really brings me good luck in my exam though! ^.^v

World cup fever! Nah... I always heard shoutings from the neighbourhood whenever there's a goal! Tsk!

This incident happens on 29/05/06 1 day before my 1st paper. I was already very pissed off because I should be studying at home and not going all the way to PS to do other things than studying. And this incident angered me greatly! That's why government is emphasizing on the quality of SERVICE!

I got to post this! As consumers, BE SMART! Don't get CHEATED!

Collection of my pinkie baby-namely the Motorola V3!(So u should know where the incident took place)

After a long hour of waiting....

After the collection, I checked my pinkie baby if she's in good condition. And OH NO! She dropped off her skin!

(Hurried back to the collection counter)
Me: Excuse me...

CSO ZEN: Yes?

Me: I have the screen protector on my phone, but now there isn't any.

CSO ZEN: Oh is it? What's your name? (rumaging through a pile of acknowledgement slips)

Me: XXX

CSO ZEN:Ok i will check for you.... Erm actually it's still there... See.....(Trying to remove the 'invisible' sticker)

Me: No.... where got?(Trying to rub against the screen of the VGA)

CSO ZEN: I help you to check... erm I go in (pointing to an office room) to take a sharp thing to remove it.

Me: OK....(heart pumping fast...afraid that he will scratch the screen instead)

15 minutes....or was it 20 minutes? or more??

CSO ZEN: I tried to take out already... But it's not as sticky as before (Handed me my HP)

I requested for the 'sticker' which is a thick transparent plastic, something like a thick transparency, and the shape is exactly like the size of a VGA screen! however when i looked closer, there's still an uneven cut at the edges! I suspected that he had been spending a long time inside the office cutting the small plastic and tried to cheat me by saying it's what he took out from the phone! I was SO ANGRY! He asked for the plastic back quickly and placed it over the VGA screen.

SUSPICIOUS POINT: Why is the sticker so thick and fits exactly into the VGA? Usually the sticker is just a thin film and slighty smaller than the size of the VGA.

Me: (I was shocked! And angry at the same time!) Ya... not sticky hor!

At this point, noticing that CSO ZEN is moaning away, mumbling to another colleague... What I heard is:"Why she still don't believe?" and he's like feeling very tired.... and the colleague asked him if he's hungry... this part is funny.

Me: Really cannot stick back huh? (With my brows knitted)

CSO ZEN: I can try to help you stick it back.

Me: Ok lor... you help me to stick it back.( Taking for granted I handed my HP over to him)

CSO ZEN: You wait a minute. (Going back to office)

SUSPICIOUS POINT: Why can't he stick it in the presence of me? Instead he went back into the office where I don't know what he's doing in there with my HP?

5 minutes later....(ha.. this time is so much faster huh?)

CSO ZEN: Erm... ok i tell you what... u buy a new one, take the receipt and I will refund you the amount.

SUSPICIOUS POINT: Why end up asking me to buy a new one and refund me? Why huh? It's an obvious intention that he wanted to cheat me with a thick plastic STICKER as what he called it!If I were to be nasty... I will straight away BANG him with the question WHY? Sticker cannot stick huh? Ask your manager here to tell me why at 1st you say can be stick on and now you ask me to buy a new one? ( Sounds similar to the bah chor mee and ter gua hor? Oppsss I didn't copy hor... it's just another analogy lah!) I was hoping that I can get back home fast to study for my exam and i just give up on my 'revenge'.

Me: Who to claim from?

CSO ZEN: Find me.... give me the receipt and I will refund.

Me: Find you...

CSO ZEN: Ya find me...

Me: Then what's your name?

CSO ZEN: Zen.....

Me: Huh? Ezan? (The surrounding is damn noisy)

CSO ZEN: Zen.... Z E N.... Zen!

Me: Zen! OK....

Hurried off to the nearest mobile shop that sells the HP accessories....Walk around for like 10 minutes.... wooh! Found it! It's damn expensive for 3 small pieces of stickers $15!!! I bought mine at only $8! But who cares? I'm going to claim full amount!

I begged the boss of the shop to re-paste my old one as i don't know why the repairer of my HP creates bubbles in the sticker! I guess he must have taken out then.*&^%$#@!
At last the boss helped me to re-paste nicely... it a tough job for him... i know cos i was there to see him re-pasting carefully on my pinkie baby. So professionally done! He's a nice boss! I thanked him profusely.... so touched by his help without any extra charge.

Back to find CSO ZEN and there's not a single soul of him! Wah lau! I thought he's gone nito hiding or he saw me through the CCTV and gone hiding in the office?! I saw a management people, those wearing long sleeved and so I asked my bro to ask him where's CSO ZEN.

5 minutes later....
CSO ZEN appeared! I gave him the receipt and even the paper cover for the sticker...He took $15 out of his pocket... and i thanked him unwillingly of course! And I stomped out of the shop....



See? Right from the start and till the end! Not even a single SORRY to be said throughout the almost 2-3 hours conversation and scenario. What is a good service? How to define good service? You tell me! Shall I write a complaint letter or a compliment to the company of where my Pinkie baby is born? Complain about the intention of cheating and compliment whereby they used money to resolve the problem.

AAArrrgggg!My hand is so painful! Aahhhh what's going on? Dad scolded me for not visiting the doctor and so brought me to the polyclinic in case there's a need for X ray. I just HATE to go polyclinic! The doctor is so AH TOOT! Can't differentiate a normal sprain and a dislocated wrist! Wah lau make me wait and wait for the results and my mama got a scare when I told her that the doctor said it might be a dislocation. The waiting is killing everyone of us lor! Duhz... in the end the doctor just asked me to rest my wrist and applied ice pack on it. Tsk!

I hate polyclinics doctors! So unpro! Maybe those going to 'keng' MC can go there lah!

Finally change my mobile plan cos my bro wants to change his HP. Haha we got a great debate about which HP he's going to change. It may sound that I'm being bossy but this bro of mine... really cannot give him a good and expensive HP one... he heck care one... wouldn't take care of it one. I dislike buying HPs from distributors! What happen to my Pinkie baby is one thing, changing my mobile plan is another thing! The distributor is so damn blur to fax over my student concession pass to the service provider and so my new plan is delayed. This means that I gotta pay the old rate till the plan is changed. Luckily I called back to the service provider to verify that I had changed the plan. What they told me is NO! So they say they will call back the distributor to confirm everything. I take it as it's none of my business and it's between the service provider and the distributor then.

Still worried about the change of mobile plan, I decided to call up the service provider. As what I predicted! So BLUR! The plan has not been changed! I got so damn fed up lor! Luckily that the customer service officer is quite polite and helpful with my enquiry. But I gotta ask my mama to photocopy my documents and fax over to the service provider. At last it's finally settled!

Things aren't going as smoothly as what I expected. My pinkie baby is being hospitalised again!This time is more serious than the 1st time. She lost her voice! I gotta go all the way to PS to send her in A&E. The customer service officer (CSO) is so damn blur! Though he looked a bit like Shawn Chen (Chen Hong Yu) but super duper blur! When I explained to him about my pinkie baby's condition...TSk! Waste my time, my breath and my saliva.It's only 4 days away from my 1st paper (Battle Round ONE) Damn it! Bought my chicken essence in tablet form at last.... I hate to drink chicken essence because it smells like chicken SHIT! LOLZ...

In related to the incident, I just wanna say, if your HP is spoilt, you are definitely uncontactable unless you have a spare phone. For me I don't like to use my bro's old HP cos it's not a user-friendly, so I GAN YUAN to be MIA.People like me SUAY... but this isn't what we SUAY people want ok?! But I don't want people to think that "Oh during exam period, switch off Hp hor!" Misunderstandings do take place and I may sound unreasonable ok I apologised. I'm so pissed up with so many things that happened along my crucial moment of my final lap. I may sound aggressive but I want to say please put yourself in others' shoes.

It seems like eveyone is smiling away except me! Tian ar!!! Save me from this agony! I only want to go back to SIM for my graduation and not repeating (PUI!). I heard from a friend that graduating students cannot repeat. Wah lau! I want my honours!!! I was damn demoralised and I got to buck up for the last 2 papers. But 1st thing when I reached home was to calculate my grades. However, it mainly depends on my papers this year.

It's a miracle for me to wake up so early today! 8am!
Haha... my cousin going in NS today. My granny and bro went to visit his camp at Tekong. Over MSN last night, my cousin said he's not nervous! Haha..he's going to be a REAL MAN mah!

Dad and Mum working and I was all alone at home working 'hard' for my papers on Monday and Wednesday. It's really blessed to have tuned in to Class 95! (By the way, I'm not advertising for them lor.. it's just my favourite station) Playing those songs when I'm in secondary and pre uni days.Now I'm in my final lap... time really flies!

Aunt bought Golden arc for me!Ahhh.... can't resist the temptation of french fries! I shared my fries with my bro though... aiya my throat got worsened.... HUAN LAI DE SHI YI JU HUO GAI! LOL I still got the mood to sing! Singing is my way to relieve stress!
