Letter from Taiwan

Yes... 1st of all, I got permission from a friend to post her photo here... yeah~ so supportive... haha my namu friend lor! I also told my 乌鸦 a.k.a 张东健 friend that I nicknamed him... haha... and he don't really 'appreciate' it. Hope to get more readers here... I just transfer the tagboard from my previous blog, so do tag it when u are free~ but if U are going to tag those hatred messages, Sorry it'll be flushed!

Alright, back to the topic... ha.. yup I finally 'see' my Mr. Scanner and it's still functioning well despite I'd not been using it for at least half a year, leaving it in despair... As I was saying that I received a letter from Taiwan recently (not from the Mr. uh-hum.. ) but my Taiwanese friend. I'm always feeling very excited when I received a letter from a friend, be it from overseas or local. I kept every single letter and greeting cards, even those notes that I used to write to my classmates in my pre-uni days ranging from those tiny tiny ones to the cheapo tissue papers. U may think that I'm crazy but I really treasure these small little memories (I'm sentimental OK!)

So, as I was reading what my friend wrote in the letter, I saw the last part.... my heart starts to beat faster and face turning pink! (No... it's not a confession of love... haha.. my friend is a lady mind you...) She wrote something like this...



Hahaha... 我的最爱, 潘先生... which nobody addressed him this to me before... My first reaction to see those words that are circled in hot pink, is that WHO? 谁? Then when I read on.. I realised who she was talking about. Don't you think it's so 感人??? I nearly fell from the sofa when I read that and it's not exaggerating lor!

I'm really glad that I have a her as a friend or rather pen pal, not because she wrote that ok! We known each other for like almost 5 years... and wrote to each other quite oftenly... as time goes, or as we are growing... recently we talked on topics like relationships, marriage and life. I'd already said... I may look young.... 16? haha 18? hahaha... but I have a rather 'old' heart. I like to ponder why? Haha... and I also like to be a LOVE consultant... in fact I'd helped some friends solving their LOVE problems. I may sound PRO and act PRO... but seriously... I have no experience.... hahaa... No certificate~ thus if any readers want to have some advice from me, welcome all to email me (depending on the content, how busy I am and how fast I can reply) . Saw this in The New Paper? Haha... he's coming real soon! And it's time of the year that I will go gar-gar over him. There's a competition about winning a dream date with Wilber, got to write a short description of a perfect date. Have to write about how would you spend the precious hour with him and where? This gonna crack my brain... and I went sms'ing every friends especially those attached ones and went MSN to 'dig' my onlined friends... but so suay~ not many online. I even posted at Friendster and my tag board.... but the tag did not appear.... rah~~~ so i transferred the tag board from my previous blog. And I continued thinking even when I'm asleep! Haha... super right??? I'm also a perfectionist! So got to plan everything in a perfect order and if no idea... how to enter this competition? One of my friends sms me to 'anyhow' write when I sms her that if I can't think of anything, I might as well don't join. And finally I got the idea from a friend, combining it with my idea! It may not be creative but ROMANTIC! Haha... I'd emailed it to the journalist and results will only be out on Friday. There'll only be a winner so my chances went real down to 0.001% given if there were a thousand fans out there. Nah just for fun... if I really won, I will be featured in The New Paper... haha I'll demand everyone to buy a copy.... haha... that really boosts the sales volume yea??? Ok... I shall post my entry when it's date due to prevent plagiarism. Promise.

Too many things to blog

Oh gosh! I have alot of things to update! Gotta spend a little time to arrange everything before I started on what I shall blog for the day! Everyday is a busy day for me!!! As said in my previous entry, I'm supposed to reveal some content of a letter from my taiwanese friend. However, I still couldn't see my scanner... (I'm such a lazy bum! 小懒猪! ) So I shall delay the entry to the weekends.


Today is the last day of work of one of my colleagues. He brought laughter to us eversince he stepped into the company... not because of his jokes but the way he express his words in a 'uncomprehenable' way and the super duper blur look on his face! Another colleague nicknamed him as the IT specialist cos he's from Engineering, while my supervisor nicknamed him as 'Doctor' as his handwriting is really illegible. Since it's the last day, we had lunch together. It's my supervisor's treat! We ordered something like Zi C-ha 4 dishes and a soup. It's quite a nice meal though my stomach started growling at around 4 plus.

I'm looking forward to NATIONAL DAY!!!

What should I get for him??? I don't want to spend too much on him lah or maybe I should get a present from him instead??? Haha~ what a wishful thought! My birthday wish is to have another chance to sing a duet with him and this time I really promise not to forget the lyrics again! In fact I'm trying very hard to remix the song! Trying to get every part right! O' God Would U give me a chance like that? Right up on the stage and enjoy the moment! 是想太多了吗？

New Look

That's not the topic lah...

Hmm... should be time to have a nice sleep... but here blogging FIRST! I got my new hairstyle (hates my grassy, hay- looking hair) on last Saturday, after staying at the salon for like 6 hours plus! Yes... it's really a tiring process but I guess it's quite worth it! I got back my glossy, sleek hair!!! I had it cut shorter and now I look much neater!

Why 6 hours? (0_o)?






6 hours=Rebonding, treatment, cut, wash, hair spa, colour, highlight, wash again,colour treatment , trim the ends and finish off with a blow dry and flat iron!


That's how you get the 6 hours... Overall the process may be tiring but the hair stylist, Joyce is really good! She's patient and humourous, not forget to say that she's very skilful! She gives good advice too~ Perhaps I shall go back to the same salon if the rebonding really can last! The funniest part or should I say the coincidental part is that the hair stylist shares the same birthday as me! 19th August!!! It's when I was filling up a customer profile form and she found that the birth date seems SO familiar! Kaili got her hair coloured too as I keep psycho'ing her... haha... but the effect is really GOOD! Thumbs up!

After the 6 hours of my beauty treat... went to meet my friends at PS for a gathering since I'd been MIA'ing for a while. Went to this restaurant outside PS... which I didn't even know what's the name of it ( maybe I'm too excited about my new hairstyle and seeing my friends) Chated for very long... laming with them especially 'teh susu' and '乌鸦 a.k.a 张东健'. Keep bombarding me rah..... and nobody sides me... Boo Hoo~ except a young cousin who is only aged 7 or 8 of my friend... and later Iry who is 'teh susu's' gf sided me... haha... and thank god.. my saviour a.k.a Namu friend came after her work! Saves my day!!!

We had a great chat and later chill at Cineleisure's TCC cos' we can't find any place to play pool. So end up sitting at the cafe to chit chat. It's also where we saw a 帅哥 (or 帅弟?as he looks quite young) there. Me and Namu friend very funny... keep bio him and walked in and out of the cafe~ so LAME! Oppsss... I guess 玮柏 wouldn't be jealous right? Nah... he also likes to see 美女嘛! And yes... we ordered drinks.... I shared with another friend as we are bloated after our dinner. Perhaps influenced by my PINK power.... we ordered this!
As seen in the background is my 不要脸的乌鸦朋友 a.k.a 张东健. He volunteered to be the background so I addressed him as Mr. Extra (in lime green)... hahaha...


We chatted till around mid night when we realised that it's already so late and we don't wish to take cab home.... so pricy.... yup... have a very enjoyable night!

On Sunday, I received a letter from my Taiwan friend!!! I'm really excited upon receiving the letter... (重感情的我) I shall update the content and what my family's reaction about the letter another day when I scan the letter into the PC as my scanner has been hidden by my messy stuff! Can't even see it!!! "Where are you, Mr. Scanner???辛苦了!! "

It's raining when we reached Malaysia~ According to the tour guide, she said that raining in Malaysia is to welcome 贵客 (honourable guests), which I don't know if it's true, but I chose to believe it hahaha.... I'm a 贵客!


My 1st stop is a small coffeeshop, just beside the famous 亚坤粮豆腐 (Ah Kun Yong Tau Foo). However, I was quite fascinated by a particular shop opposite... Kimura Kitchen! This reminds me of a Jap star Takuya Kimura! No link? Lame? No lor... don't you think so?

My uncle super funny!!! He ordered fruits! (Despite knowing that we will be going to visit the fruit farm in the afternoon) I mean.... just hope they wouldn't run to toilet~~ =x

And the journey goes on... next stop-- Ostrich farm! (Kinda excited to see the ostrich!) Along the way... I saw alot of plantations....

This is an ostrich's egg. It's as heavy as a bowling ball and 1 egg can feed 20 people, i.e. 1 ostrich egg=20 normal chicken eggs.


Hey who's this 老头子 interrupting me teaching the class??? Nah... he's the real teacher here... my brother and I keep bombarding him with questions... haha... like is it true ostrich will dig a hole in the ground and hide its head in it? The answer is surprising NO! Kena cheated by those cartoons... so children don't watch too much cartoons!


Aren't they the same??? NO! The picture on the upper is 2 weeks old while on the lower is 3 weeks old. How about the following 2 pictures?

The upper is 4 weeks old and the lower is 5 weeks old. Hmmm but all looks the same to me!!!

Cute little rabbits costing RM15 each (but you gotta pay for the adoptiong fess or wadever tax if you wanna bring it over to Singapore)


Hundreds of 鲤鱼 (Koi) swarming towards the food we threw to them. Each packet of feeding costing only RM1 so why not letting them enjoy abit? And also for us to get real near to the nature?何乐而不为?!


Given a box of 9 different fruits as a souvenir~ heehee... 我迫不急待把它吃完！

As for dinner, we have a great feast at a restaurant eating seafood! Too bad there are crabs! I'm allergic to this delicious dish!! Arrrggg... so I'm too sad to take pics. And after that off we headed back to Singapore!

感想(Evaluation):
Learnt alot about ostrich and different kinds of fruits and plants. Enjoy the nature. Enjoy being with my family. However my heart is still in Taiwan. Haha... many friends asked about my Taiwan trip which is cancelled due to many reasons... but I told them I'm being blown back to Singapore by the 台风(typhoon). I know there will always be a day that I'll be visiting 101百货商店, 五分埔, 西门丁 etc... I'm planning to go JB 瞎并 with my friends this August! Yippy!!!

Aggressive Sandy in action

It's Friday night wooh wooh wooh~~~ (Isn't there a song which goes like this???)


Looking at the title... yes I'm angry! Not exactly angry lah... just look bit aggressive (commented by my friend) when I'm having a small meeting with my other 3 colleagues. Hmm... perhaps I like to do things in a systematical way that's why I couldn't tolerate people taking things so easily like none of their business. My thinking is that if you want to do something, do it with all your effort and not dilly-dally, anyhow do it. The issue is I was helping 1 of them checking the documents and found there's some mistakes with the printing. If I don't inform the person-in-charge, they will continue printing duplicates.

IT'S SUCH A WASTE OF PAPERS!!! PLEASE THINK OF THE TREES!!!


However that colleague of mine said might as well wait till Monday which I think not advisable! So I told him the consequences... He continued saying that he got things to do. I KNOW! Who don't have the things to DO??? I did the checking for him despite it's NOT MY WORK! I could have just walk off ,dump everything to him and happily gone home and enjoy my dinner! Instead I sat in front of the PC and check everything for him and categorised the pile of 'SHIT' nicely into different stacks for him. So I just went to inform the person-in-charge by MYSELF! ( Though the other 2 also went along but I did the talking)

SO! CLEARED!!! At least you wouldn't feel so kang kor (uncomfortable) during the weekends as you have cleared the mistakes and let the load off your back. After that, on the way home, I asked my friend "Do I seem aggressive?" "Yes, abit..." That's her reply. Haha... really ar? I do seem and sound aggressive? No wonder my bro so scared of me at times when I really flared up! I mean... it's like you gotta be firm in doing things which you reckoned it to be right! People will agree with you when you are serious and not in a jokingly manner. ( I can see when I talked to them during the mini meeting we held before going to inform the person-in-charge. Their faces were like turning from smiling, joking away to serious expression.)

YES... I like doing things this way... to get things done! (Agree?) One more thing... I don't know why people are so dependent??? Can't they learn to be more independent??? There'll always ONE day.... ONE fine day that they are going to be alone and take the stand to decide on some issues! Sometimes I really feel tired and dreaded of them depending on me. Hey come on! We are taking the same pay... sometimes I can help you but you gotta learn to help yourself! Helping yourself or being decisive can aid you to learn~ along the way... the one who is benefitting is YOU not others!


And yeah! I'm going to rebond my hair tomorrow! Another spending day... but I found this small salon at Raffles Place... not bad leh... its a package... and I make sure the hair stylist do a good job! I even questioned her about the prices she quoted, if she will ask me to buy shampoo and stuff... or is the shampoo'ing included? or i gotta pay extra besides the package pricing. Cos' I'd experienced alot when later they will try to psycho you to buy products that will make your hair smooth and sleek and whatever shit they will say in order to get you in buying their products. The lady seems nice and she even tells me not to buy the shampoo (when I saw a brand which is good) till I finished my current one. That's leaves me a good impression and so I decided to let her 'touch' my hair. I guess I would have a complete makeover, sick of my current hairstyle liao! If I have enough $, I will go to spur myself with a makeover treat at 'thebeauybox' on my birthday!

Will Pan's Gao Shou

Now...

I shall comment a little about this brand new album of my dearie Will Pan! (Coz' I'm supposed to be his lover right? ---> Look at my occupation)
Overall, this album is much different from his previous albums. It's up to my expectation! I thought it will be nothing great... but he proved me wrong. Personally, I like songs like Baby Bye (Composed by 1 of the contestants in Project Superstar, Hagen Tan), Bu De Bu Ai (A duet with a girl whom I don't know who she is but with very high pitch voice), and my fave Gen Wo Zou Ba (which reminds me of a song of his previous album Ni Rang Wo Zou Le). The song which keeps spinning in my head is Who Is MVP? ( this sounds like the drama acted by 5566) and Gao Shou which is the 1st hit of this album.

I just hope to see Will Pan soon ( can see that as his lover... life isn't that romantic huh?) and hope to have another chance to sing with him on a stage.

Off to Malaysia trip

Yeah... soon it will be weekends again... yippy... hmmm I'm going to Malaysia with my family! Family outing yah... and I'll bring along my dear camera to snap snap snap... hee hee...

I finally watch INITIAL D! Hmmm yah spending money again... but this time is to treat my bro... see him so kelian.... didn't get to watch...


Overall.... hmmm Jay Chou's acting okay lah! I just like the part where the girl (or father?) told him that it's a real success when you win over yourself not competing with others. This is what I think is very true. Competition is nothing unless you win over yourself.... challenge with your limit!

Everyday when I walked to Raffles Place MRT station from my work place, I couldn't help myself to take a quick glance at the HOT PINK roses at a florist shop.


It's really very nice when combined with some BABY PINK roses... wooh~ how I wish someone could give me a bouquet like that.... haha.. dream on~

Working may be very sian... but I'm fine with my present job... though school will be reopening in around 2 more months... but memories there will always be kept in my mind. There's a morning where my supervisor bought her BK breakfast and gave us hash brown to share. There's also once when she bought chocolates for us, where I'm the top achiever and gotta have the priority to choose the chocolate (Doesn't it sounds lame?). And the 4 of us.... 1 will be always munching away with his snacks... always eat and eat.... 1 will always get 'scoldings' becos of his carelessness and not being tactful enough.... 1 will always says that she could not meet her target, and complained that her cases are all so problematic.... and 1 will always says she's going to die of tiredness.

Life isn't perfect.... it have to go through ups and downs... that's why it comprises of all sorts of so called experience!

Going off to Malaysia~ wouldn't be blogging till next week.

Wise Owl

Oh... to my surprise... I got my 1st comment in my blog~ Ha... thanks thanks though I don't know who U R.

This weekend is the 1st weekend which I spent it wisely after slacking for 2 weekends. Hmm yesterday went to the library (yes finally~) I borrowed 10 books!!! Am I a wise OWL? Haa... and so far I have finished 1 and given up for another cos I realised I borrowed the wrong book written by Jane Austen ( ya.. I'm dumb but it's just a thin book). And after that went to collect my camera at Funan.

I used to blast my ears with the 'lovely music' from my mp3 while travelling so I did not notice that my Dad called me and sms me. When I was about to walk out of City Hall MRT station... to my horror... I saw a few policeman and a bunch of soldiers. I thought it must be the increased security due to the terrorist attack in London. But, as I walked on... there are more at the bus stop. I took out my handphone, it was my dad.... and he told me not to go Mount Faber... cos something happening there. I'm shocked... cos I'm really worried that terrorists really arrowed Singapore! That was the most terrifying thing... and I were to admit that we people really rely too much on the government. Then later my dad said it's actually a chemical leak.... hmmm.... but it's scary enough! (yes I'm a scaredy mouse) When I watched on the tv in the evening, those soldiers and police which I saw at City Hall were actually because due to the accident of the parachutes-flyers ( I don't know the exact name lah! or sky diving? I'm never interested in those sports lingo.)

Hmm sound bit pissed when I asked the staff for an extension of my waranty of the camera since I bought it for less than a year and that's my 3rd visit to the servicing centre. Alright... luckily they are polite enough to say if anything wrong with the camera I can still go back despite the waranty ends till this month.

After that met Kaili at Bugis to shop.... ha.... ya... no money still shop! Window shopping mah.... but end up buying some things back.

Yes... when's my last blog in? Wow it'd been a week or so.... hmmm... time really flies..... and I don't know where it goes??? I'd been working for almost 3 weeks and soon it'll be a month! There's only one word that comes to my MIND....


TSUKARE! (TIRED!)


Haiz.... everyday when i got home... I'm really shagged.... till I hardly go online.... (except today...) every weekends... I'll stay at home and sleep.... watch TV.... blah blah blah... of course singing to myself!!!

There's one thing that I'm abit pissed off.... that is my colleague lor~ there's 4 of us now... so we gotta get the work done more quickly as 1 more new staff to share the load... no more excuses.... but I notice that this particular colleague of mine... he's always talking on his mobile... ar boh.... walk here walk there... then if can't meet the target before 6.30pm.... he'll do O.T and earn extra cash in order to meet the target. While on the other hand, the rest ( well actually only me and Kaili) will slog so hard to complete our work without doing OT.... not to say earn extra cash... well... my point is not that he is much cleverer than us.... as in know how to 'keng' but my point is that the company is simply underutilise this type of staff.... if I'm the boss.... I sure kick him out! Alright... I admit that I'm a perfectionist and always aim high~ with standard! I guess that way of working style doesn't lead us far.... not to say that he's actually from SMU! I always thought that SMU students are more ambitious and got those 'know how' attitude towards work. NO NO!!! At least this colleague of mine proved me wrong. Hmmm.... frankly speaking, he doesn't give me any impression that he's from SMU. I do not have any prejudice or discriminating factor against local UNI and of course not that I COULD NOT GET INTO A LOCAL UNI.... but I feel glad that I wasn't that bad compared to those local undergrad. (I do have alot of friends in local UNIS) At least I got job experience... and certainly I do learn alot from my jobs.... of course got to be observant! Notice things happening around~ the way supervisors or managers act and do things. I guess there's a long way for me to learn and become successful in life.

I enjoy my present temp job as I'm still learning how to go on with working life after I graduate! Hmmm in CBD area... not bad! Can consider.... to become an OL! haha.... I guess I'd watched too much Jap drama~

EQ is important too~ lucky I have! But keep on learning~ and not copying~

Oh ya... so long din blog le.... and I still din see any comments yet.... hmmm.... yup... I'm not as famous as the blogger princess mah.... haha.... oh oh.... don't be mistaken that I wanna be famous or whatsoever.... I don't have powerful language and this blog is for my friends whom I did not see for long time and also.... those who wants to know more about me....
