Went k songs today... have a べんと(bento) set for lunch and off went shopping in town. Wanted to get shoes today... cos I'm poor enough to wear my 'only 2 pair' of shoes to work. Wanted to get something that I could wear it on weekends too. So got 1 golden one from DMK. I guess it has becoming my favourite shoe shop in town. Then at far east another white one which Ms Chin says its very princessy~ but I think it not the cutesy type. It's more of a demure pair of shoes... haha.
Bought a white pearls necklace which can match almost any casual top.

Gown
Went to collect my convocation gown today with my colleague cum schoolmate, S, her friend, and Em.
The sales person tried to sell me the photo package and BOO! I'm not easily being pursuade. Moreover, I have already taken.
I have checked every details carefully.... know why?
I paid $250 deposit, or in other words 'security deposit' for the gown and the mortarboard. $20 for the rental and $31.50 for my parents' admission fee to the ceremony.
Wah.... imagine, I have swipe my card for over $300.... tsk!
After that, went to PS to makan...... Yoshinoya! Yea!
Then off to Jap class.... my classmates thought I went shopping, then saw the gown.... so paiseh.... cos they thought I'm very young and thought I'm like Poly student..... rah..... I know I don't look or act like a graduate lah! I don't have the quality is it? Hahahaha.....
Super tired today!
My Jap course is getting more difficult~ I have to ben-kyo-shi-ma-su! STUDY!

New phone
Haha.... i got my new handphone!!! Wooh!....
With 3 mega pixel cam... haha... I can take more of my narcisstic photos~ whee~~~ I can listen to FM and also MP3....
What happen to my pinky baby???
I sold it..... haahaaa I'm very heartless right? But after consideration, it's a good buy than trade in!
Sooo....... conclusion is... don't trade in! Sell to those Ah Beng handphone shops! But make sure you deleted all stuff inside! I'm nice enough to give them a picture of a PIG and a ringtone FREE! Hahaha..... imagine whoever gets the phone and sees a PIG inside~ hahahahahaha.....

School VS Work
I'm adapting well at work but on the other hand, I still miss school life. The only difference is that income coming from one full time source and during school days, income was on part time basis. I guess that's the most confusing and contradicting issue between preferring school life or working life.
I have started to 'like' my working environment as I have a small group of colleagues who shared the same insights with me. At least, we have the clique. Why is it small group? Ha.. while that's what happen in school too! Groups are formed unknowingly. Perhaps my working team is formed with a bunch with youngsters, all aged less than 30.
Frankly speaking, when I started my temp job last year after graduation, I see the real life office politics. The feeling is not as strong yet. It's only when I joined as a perm staff and in the position to 'feel' the sensation of being looked. I tried to be very low profile but since my entrance to the department, I guess it's really hard to keep a very low profile. Another thing is that my attitude towards work. I'm not a risk taker so everything my boss/team leader tell me to do this and that, I will just follow. Though sometimes I think their methods does not add any value and not the so called 'working wise'. I need to liase with alot of people from another department, thus need to build up good relationship in order to make things easier to settle. I should have know these before I studied Business. There are alot of circumstances that you need to think before you do and say.
Same applies to when you are in school. There's no office politics but school politics. The difference is that it's the kiddish style. If you are a prominent figure in school, other students will point fingers at you whenever something happens. If you are the low profile ones, others will say that you are anti-social. When teachers/lecturers asked you to do this and that, when you are a follower and happily finished your homework and assignments, others will say that you are a bookworm/boot-polisher. Same thing, you need support from your classmates, be it projects or games, in order to win.
As we grow up, we need to learn how to deal with nasty people and to block all those 'arrows' shooting behind you. You will never know when you are going to be the target for them to shoot. Even when you are known, I guess you are already R.I.P.

Toto!
Feeling: 80% happy +20% unhappy= mild satisfaction
Happy because me and my colleagues shared $ to buy TOTO and it's totally an amuse to relate everything about TOTO.
After lunch, we accompanied 2 colleagues to go temple and pray to Tai Sui as they offend Tai Sui this year. Then we headed off back to office, but on the way we walked past Singapore Turf Club. Trying our luck after we have been to the temple, we decided to combine our monetary forces to win this Chinese New Year's 10 million TOTO. After choosing our numbers, we came up with 2 sets of 'winning' numbers. Each of us contributed $1.40 and all have a wishful thinking of striking the top prize.
The funniest scene happens eversince I joined in the dept. While taking the lift up to the office, we 5 people each hold to the winning ticket and shout 'HUAT AH!'
All laughing like mad people from Hougang chalet....
They are quite bo liao as they immediately started to send emails about the HUAT thingy.... one male colleague went to the extreme of finding a picture of the mahjong tile with the character HUAT!
Funny funny funny.... end up also didn't win. Only 1 digit. Hahahaha.....
As a beginner of TOTO buyer, I asked my mum to help me buy a set too. Mine only came up with 2 winning numbers.... but that's not from Quickpick.... it's my own numbers! Hee hee... so 2 winning numbers, not bad already ok..... don't play play.
After work, I'm supposed to meet K & Y in town. But some internal conflicts in my office have to be settled. So sian. That constitutes to 20 % of unhappiness, which I don't want to talk about.
Met K & Y in town, eat Yoshinoya.... chat chat chat till 9 plus. It's a wonderful thing to meet up with friends and sit down chat. We are planning to go tour in June. Yeah! But just now whe I told my mum, she's abit worried about me planning to go on free & easy.... arrrgggg.... but after I proved that I'm independent enough and i have friends over there mah.... she's finally ...... hmmm dunno lah... she looked less worried. Hahahaha....
Yeah! My convocation has comfirmed to be on 13th April. Collecting my gown soon! Gotta start calling up my dear friends to take pictures! Wheeee~~~~ so happy!
